Grab Bag of 2 Minis (8ml) - Baroness X Nail Polish Mystery Box

This listing is for 2 mini size (8mL) polishes. This is not a choice listing, this is full on mystery grab bag of Baroness X nail polish. If you have already purchased polishes from us please email us a list of the polishes you already own after checkout so we don't send repeats. If you have all the polishes in our collections then you may get a repeat until there are new polishes available.

This is a great option for customers who want to try our product. Our nail lacquer is made with solvent resistant glitters and cosmetic grade micas and blended together with a 5-free base to bring you a quality product.

Note: The limit is two mystery listings per order.

All the bases are "3-free", technically they are "5 free" as well. This means they DO NOT contain the Toxic Trio of chemicals: toluene, formaldehyde and dibutyl phthalate. They also do not contain camphor or formaldehyde resin. For a list of ingredients see below.

All my nail lacquers and eye shadows are 100% handmade by mixing all my own ingredients, I do not buy commercial nail polishes or eyeshadows and mix them together. I start from scratch with pigments, glitters and bases. I also do not "re-sell" pigments I buy and relabel them as eyeshadow. (This poor practice is common in many indie cosmetic lines.) All eyeshadows I sell start with my custom "base" which helps with adhesion and slip. Then I add in my own colors to create custom shades.

Application Tips

  • All beauty gurus will recommend applying a top coat to your manicure to both make it last longer and make the finish smooth and glass-like. All manufacturer's glitter polishes will have some texture to them, so it is extra important to get a good top coat on those.
  • Another tip from all the pros is to apply thin layers rather than one thick layer. This also helps your mani last longer since thinner layers reduce the likelihood of chipping.
  • Glitter polishes are also known for being difficult to remove, try soaking your nails in remover after you've gotten the top layers off.

Settling - All nail lacquer bottles will contain one larger or two smaller stainless steel agitators to help with mixing since settling can occur, as usual this can be fixed by rolling and turning your bottle upside down a few minutes before application. Shaking is not recommended with the larger agitators.

Uniformity of product - Lacquers and eyeshadows are made in batches. I try to make all products consistent by using a formula, but there may still be a slight variation from batch to batch.

Consistency from photo to product - I have been taking product pictures for years and I feel I've done well to capture the true colors of the polish in bottles. Please note for the pictures from bloggers, the lighting conditions vary from blogger to blogger but again they have been taking pictures for just as long or longer. Sometimes there can be a variation in color due to your monitor settings.
