Since ancient Egyptian times, olive leaves have been used for medicinal healing purposes, specifically in the forms of poultices and wound care. Olive oil and olive leaf are a wonderful source to essential skin care rich in antioxidants and skin softening properties, vitamins A, B, C, D, E, K, and iron, fatty acids, squalene, and oleuropein, which an amazing anti-oxidant, acting as a free radical scavenger at the skin level. 

Oleuropein has been found to stimulate the components of connective tissue and regularize the tissue, thereby boosting the health of the skin. In a recent study, oleuropein showed accelerated healing effects on wounded skin by helping increase blood supply to the wounded area and enhancing collagen fiber generation. Recent studies also show preventative effects of olive leaf extracts and oleuropein on chronic UVB-induced skin damage and carcinogenesis.

Best of all this lotion formulation has no fillers, or B.S. It's as natural as can be while also remaining shelf stable for 1 year, though we have experienced 2 year shelf life with proper storage. (Keep away from sunlight and store between 68 - 74F.)
