OPTION DETAILS

• Pump Pen w/ Brush 5.5 mL - Just like the pics show. Easy to use and refill
• Plastic Dropper 15 mL - Plastic dropper bottle for refilling or application. Similar dispenser to eye dropper bottles. Nothing fancy but it does the trick.
  
• Bottle w/ Brush 15 mL - Glass nail polish bottle with a wide nail polish brush
• The refill plastic dropper + pen are available as a combo for a discounted price.

NOTE:  The plastic dropper bottle is the best for refilling because you're least likely to spill the contents. Many customers buy the pen initially and then get a plastic dropper bottle for refilling the pen. Most customers just buy both up front to save on shipping.

BACKGROUND

A lot of time and research has went into creating the Baroness X 20 oil blend. There are so many cuticle oils out there but they're not all necessarily made of quality oils. If you are looking for something for long term maintenance that will heal and hydrate, then this is the product you need. Anyone can throw together oils and put it in a bottle but I've carefully chosen the best oils to help promote healing and maintain hydration of your nails and cuticles. This blend is vegan and as all Baroness X products, cruelty-free. It's also free of other common allergens (note the Kukui Nut Oil which is a tree nut so please use caution if you have nut allergies).

HOW DOES THE PEN WORK?

To use, take off the cap. Be sure to hold the pen horizontally, then simply push on the end of the pen pump to dispense the oil into the brush. Brush onto cuticles. Put cap back on and you're done with application. (There is no longer a cab on the cap.)

After applying to cuticles let it sit for a few minutes to let the oils penetrate deep into your skin, meanwhile enjoy the smell if you've opted for a scented version. (Hint: Jasmine and Lavender are both very relaxing!) After the oils have absorbed for a bit rub the remaining oil into your hands so they can benefit from the hydrating ingredients as well.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I APPLY?

• Apply at least two to three times a day if you're having issues with dryness, cracking or have a cuticle injury.
• Apply one to two times a day to maintain cuticle health and hydration in dry climates or during cold winter months.
• The frequency of application really depends on the needs of the individual so play around and find out what works for you.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THIS SPECIAL OIL BLEND?

The "Baroness X 17 Oil Blend" consists of:

• Organic Jojoba Oil: This is simply one of the best oils to use on skin, the molecular structure of this oil is the closest to our naturally occurring sebum so it is easily absorbed.
• Organic Sweet Almond Oil: Opens pores so that other treatments are also more easily absorbed, contains zinc which is important for wound healing, helps heal cuts and cracks in the cuticle area.
• Organic Apricot Kernel Oil: Increases elasticity and helps healing.
• Organic Avocado Oil: Penetrates deep and quickly, taking other healing oils deeper into the dermis.
• Organic Kukui Nut Oil: Soothing, penetrates quickly and is readily absorbed into skin.
• Organic Argan Oil: Softens and restructures, treats brittle nails.
• Organic Cranberry Seed Oil: An antioxidant that conditions and help stabilize other more fragile oils in formulations.
• Organic Carrot Seed Oil: Moisturizes and protects.
• Organic Hemp Seed Oil: Anti-inflammatory that alleviates irritation.
• Organic Borage Seed Oil: Regenerates skin.
• Organic Rosehip Seed Oil: Diminishes scars, prevents dry, dehydrated skin.
• Organic Sea Buckthorn Oil: Repairs, protects and conditions.
• Organic Olive Squalane: Heals wounds, softens and encourages regeneration of healthy skin cells.
• Organic Sesame Seed Oil: Moisturizes nails and the nail bed.
• Organic Meadowfoam Seed Oil: Moisturizes the skin better than most oils, and it helps prevent moisture loss.
• Organic Tamanu Oil: This oil has been thoroughly researched, the conclusive evidence is it has a renowned ability to heal damaged skin. Wound-healing and scar reducing!
• Organic Vitamin E: An antioxidant, helps retain a longer shelf life, repairs and preserves the skin’s cells.

WHAT ABOUT THE SHELF LIFE?

This depends on storage because all oils eventually lose their stability. At the least, 9 months which is definitely long enough to get through a full size bottle if you use it 2-3x a day. If you are careful to keep the oil blend away from high temps (above normal room temps is too high) and store it tightly closed protected from heat and light it will last 18 months. If you decide to store your refill bottle in the refrigerator it will likely keep even longer if needed. I've found that customers are coming back often enough that this shouldn't be an issue if you are using the oil regularly for maintenance.

LEGEND

*This cuticle oil does not contain artificial coloring, the color is purely due to the color combination of the oils. Some oils used are dark orange and dark green in their natural state. These combined with the lighter oils results in the yellow color of the final product.
